FMP Week 10

This week has been difficult for a variety of reasons, I missed my peer to peer session due to a work commitment, but I have had a good chat about the project with Sarah Bell, an artist that I work with. I’ve scheduled a studio session with her for next week and I’m very excited as she is kindly letting me use her print making equipment. I think having a supportive and creative environment like this will really help me to tackle my creative block around drawing, as well as give me a deadline to come up with a plan for what I want to work on in the studio. We had a good chat about creative block as well, and she suggested I try continuous line drawings as an exercise.

I’ve ordered some grey toned paper as well as some new charcoal and a smaller sketch book and have started piecing together some possible sections to start working on.

I’ve tried to block out a project plan for the rest of the project, to give myself a schedule to stick to as well.
